Experimental Studies of Language
19–21 June 2025
Conference for Young Scholars
Research Computing Center, Lomonosov Moscow State University

About

The purpose of the Conference is to bring together young scholars who approach research in the fast-growing field of experimental linguistics. The Conference highlights those who develop theoretical models of language using high-quality and reliable empirical data obtained by means of linguistic experiments.

The topics discussed at the Conference include experimental studies on grammatical constraints, intralingual variation, speech comprehension and production, as well as methodological issues.

The program is organized so that a single session unites scholars coming from different backgrounds and doing research in different frameworks (e.g. syntacticians and psycholinguists). In 2025, in addition to the academic program (invited talks and panels) we plan to incorporate educational sessions (masterclasses and TED talks by experienced academics) and leisure activities (networking and quiz) to increase engagement of young scholars in the academia. The year of 2025 will mark the first International event in the history of the Conference.
